Man....y'all Phoenix residents don't know how lucky y'all are. This is CLASSIC EAST COAST americanized chinese food. As a former new yorker, who used to have a spot like this on damn near every corner, I damn near screamed when I figured it out. I live in LA and a spot like this is non-existent. You will not and cannot find it there. Those kale-eating, frozen gluten bread-eating mufuckas would never allow a spot like this to shine.
I kept it classic and went with 4 plain chicken wings with pork fried rice. And not only was the flavor true to the east-coast, it was cooked FRESH (probably why it costs more). The only reason I deducted a score was the wait times, the literal hole in the wall aka prison-esque gated window (more of a symptom of the shitty area?), and lack of real asian bbq sauce and duck (mango/plum/apricot blend) sauce.
If you want to fully enjoy this meal...go buy Duck sauce from fry's and put it on the rice or chicken. You'll understand! -

Very tasty food. Ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special and drive down to pick it up. Service could be a bit better but overall I was very happy with my meal. Will definitely give the other dishes a try during future visits.

Funny place...literally this is east coast Chinese..lol and the ppl have no idea that it is ; if your from nyc-NJ-CT, you'd know
Its also funny that you can only order from outside behind a fortified steel window protector ; says alot about the neighborhood ya know? But to the food, it's much more fresher, flavorful and generous portions than the places in NYC ; trust and believe ; very nice!! -

Damn dog, not the day to order standing outside, 108° waiting but my ac is busted. It was worth it because I got the Chicken Chop Suey and the Sweet n Sour Chicken wings. The whole wings were bombers with plenty of sauce too! The food is fresh and you can see it in the vegetables. The lunch specials on the bars are good but a tip for you if you're new to this type of ordering is go online. There's more to offer besides what you see. Wait, did he say bars? Yeah, it's kinda hoody there so ordering through prison bars you'll just have to overlook that. The rice was kinda Mexican/Chinese style which was oddly good! Save yourself some time and call it in ahead of time unless you don't mind cultural scenery
